At this free seminar by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), the CRA will review payroll requirements for deducting, remitting, and reporting amounts for the Canada Pension Plan, Employment Insurance, and income tax. It is important to determine whether a worker is an employee or a self-employed individual. Employment status directly affects a person's entitlement to Employment Insurance (EI) benefits.
