Mountain Biking Trails

Brant Tract

The Brant Tract is a multi-use, year round trail system near Paisley. In this 781 acres of reforested property there are a number of double wide trails suitable for equestrians, hikers, cyclists, snowshoers and cross county skiers and even dogsledders, and a wide variety of "single track" wilderness trails, suitable for the adventurous hiker and mountain biker

Inverhuron Provincial Park

Located near Tiverton, 14 kms. north of Kincardine and 22 kms southwest of Port Elgin

Ontario Parks plans to reopen Inverhuron for overnight camping. Inverhuron is presently available for day use only and boasts one of the area's best sand beaches. The park is open to cyclists and walkers.

MacGregor Point Provincial Park

The park has five trails idea for a biking adventure. See their web site for details.

Saugeen Rail Trail

This former rail line between Port Elgin and Southampton is a great ride. More information can be found online....

Stoney Island Conservation Area

Located 4 kms north of Kincardine on County Road 23 at Conc. #7

This area is an excellent site for mountain bike enthusiasts to develop their skills. The trails offer many challenging features such as moguls, combination ridge climbs, straight-aways, hill climbs, curved and banked downhill runs, trial diversions, racing circuits, rough terrain and bridge crossings. Hardwoods, cedars and hemlocks shelter the trails, with several lookouts over Lake Huron.
